The course was created in 1983 using "object poles" made from old street signs. With interest in the sport growing, the "object poles" were replaced with "tone poles" in 1988. These were 2-1/4" pipes that made a chime sound when hit by a disc. In 1992, the poles were replaced with "DGA Mach III" baskets. These baskets were used for 26 years until they were replaced in 2018 with "Veteran's" baskets.
