It is the duty, responsibility and charge of the Beautification Committee to study, investigate, develop and recommend those programs and activities which will enhance the beautification of Hays, Kansas. Those programs include:
A) a comprehensive program for the care, planting and removal or disposition of trees and shrubs in and along parks, streets, alleys, publicly owned land or other property within the City;
B) a program addressing the various entrances into the City and actions needed to beautify said areas;
C) a program promoting both residential and commercial area beautification;
It also considers, investigates, reports and recommends any other matter affecting the overall beautification needs of the City of Hays.
