The Hays Beautification Committee began the Adopt a Spot (AAS) program in an effort to help clean up Hays. Local groups and businesses are encouraged to choose a location and adopt the area for a minimum of two (2) trash cleanups per year. The City of Hays provides trash bags for the cleanup and picks up the bags the following business day.
